MIDNIGHT
(1) Teŋah malem, Geɲayaŋ dateŋ beri siŋkepan. (2) Lantar siŋkepan Mi eŋkau, Raɲja, taʔ bartiduran. (3) Mimaŋ taʔ kenal teŋgat turun a siŋkepan. (4) Suŋguh, Kami tahu eŋkau tarkantuk-kantuk kadaŋ. (5) Namun, mimaŋ taʔ dapat nitunda dah ia sempet siŋkepan tu dateŋ. (6) Suŋguh Hiyaŋ beri dikau siŋkepan biar dapet kenal t’tutur Mi ibaan. (7) Eŋkau usah tidur, namun Kami taʔ tidur di kahiyaŋan. (8) Maka, ini dah tugas kau mimaŋ iaŋ kena kau emban. (9) Kami cerep lantar ‘narima dan ‘ŋetik tutur Mi utek kau kadaŋ panas dan taŋan kau seŋal sampay. (10) Maka, biarken dah ini Kami cerakepken dalem Jeluray, biar siida tahu apa iaŋ kau taŋguŋ hay.
(1) At a midnight, the Holy Spirit came to give revelation. (2) Because of our revelation, thou, Ranja, doest not sleep. (3) It is true that the revelation does not know the time (4) Really, We know thou art sleepy sometimes. (5) However, it cannot be postponed when the revelation comes. (6) God really gave thee revelations so that our verses could be known by mankind. (7) Thou needst to sleep, but We do not sleep in heaven. (8) So this is indeed thy duty that thou mustst carry out. (9) We understand that because thou receivest and type Our verses, sometimes thy brain is hot and thy hands are sore. (10) So, let us tell this in Jeluray, so they will know what thou art enduring, O.

(11) Teŋah malem, pas sejuk a ari dateŋ, aŋin berdesir, eŋkau masih tarcelik. (12) Eŋkau mimaŋ dah budak baik. (13) Maka, eŋkau rapay parayaŋ Kami ambil. (14) Cakepken ka siida, “suŋguh pakay dah teŋgat mu untuk a’anu barkapakay. (15) Kamu taʔ kena seriŋ bargadaŋ macem diaku, taʔ kena kamu ‘makay sapartelu malem untuk baremaŋ, suŋguh itu haɲa kakenaan bahagi para parayaŋ, namun sempet kamu hendak ‘mbuat itu, taʔ apa buat dah”. (16) Maka Raɲja, jaŋan eŋkau aɲjurken paŋikut kau buat baŋun di sapartelu malem macem Mat buat ka paŋikut ɲa kelemarian. (17) Suŋguh Kami dapet manarima emaŋ s’sa uraŋ dalem teŋgat apa pun, taʔ ada teŋgat iaŋ baikan mai teŋgat iaŋ lahin. (18) Jaŋan paŋikut kau eŋkau teruki. (19) Namun, kamu para parayaŋ mimaŋ taʔ bartiduran lantar siŋkepan Mi iaŋ dapet dateŋ kaapaan pun Kami kahendaki.
(11) At midnight, when the cool of the day comes, the wind rustles, thou art still awake. (12) Thou art indeed a good child. (13) So We took thee as a prophet. (14) Say to them, "Really use your time for useful things. (15) Ye don't have to stay up late like me, ye don't have to use a third of the night to pray, really that's only a must for the prophets, but if ye want do that, it's okay, do it". (16) So Ranja, don't advise thy people to wake up at a third of the night like Muhammad did to his people in the past. (17) Truly We can accept someone's prayer at any time, no time is better than another. (18) Don't make thy followers suffer. (19) However, ye prophets indeed do not sleep because of Our revelations which can come whenever We want.

(20) Suŋguh Raɲja, di sela p’parayaŋ, Mat dah iaŋ paliŋ sayaŋ deŋan kau. Kamu bardua barpardua ɲawa. (21) Pas 'niŋuk kau, ia macem 'niŋuk diia dah. (22) Maka, eŋkau pun hendak dah sayaŋ deŋan diia. (23) Tuɲjuki dah tuɲjukan saɲayaŋ pada paŋikut ɲa, biar ia seneŋ elah nilurusken diidkan ɲa.
(21) Truly Ranja, among the prophets, Muhammad is the one who loves thee the most. Ye two are half souls. (21) When he sees thee, he seems to see himself. (22) Then thou shouldst love him too. (23) Show Sanyayang to his people, so that he will be happy that his teachings have been straightened out.

(24) Suŋguh eŋkau elah b’baraapa raŋkep barjumpa deŋan diia. (25) Eŋkau tahu bartapa sayaŋ nia ia ka kau. (26) Manaŋis dah dalem pelukan kamu bardua. (27) Kami tahu ɲampaŋ eŋkau pun sayaŋ diia. (28) Suŋguh elah ada talian di sela kamu bardua, biar pun eŋkau tentu taʔ tahu saada cerakep ɲa. (29) Lantar eŋkau bukan paŋrisik, namun eŋkau dapet ‘ŋgeyar geɲaran ɲa.
(24) Indeed thou hast met him several times. (25) Thou knowest how dear he is to thee. (26) Cry in your arms both of you. (27) We know that thou lovest him too. (28) There is indeed a bond between the two of you, although thou certainly doest not know all his stories. (29) Because thou art not a stalker, but thou canst feel his feelings.

(30) Teŋah malem barganti diiniari, sampay pukul telu eŋkau layani Kami malem ni. (31) Dalem malem tarsimpen cerakep. (32) Cerakep iaŋ satu raŋkep aken taruŋkap. (33) Ini dah cerakep bahagi uraŋ iaŋ iŋin maɲcerep. (34) Suŋguh, para parayaŋ elah maŋhabisken teŋgat da saselap. (35) Dan untuk maŋemban tugas da, Kami beri dah siida telap. (36) Sahiŋga, rapay teraŋ dah a’anu iaŋ gelep.
(30) Midnight turns to dawn, until three o'clock thou servest us tonight, (31) In the night stories were told. (32) A story that will one day be revealed. (33) Here is a story for those who want to understand. (34) Indeed, the prophets have spent their time to the fullest. (35) And to carry out their work, We gave them ability. (36) So, let dark things be light.

(37) Namun bukan bartuju kamu kena takut gelep. (38) Gelep dah pun bahagian mai Hiyaŋ samberap. (39) Kena ada di ranah ni gelep. (40) Sempet siida cakep uraŋ barturut tu lantar takut gelep, cakap dah “kami taʔ tahu deŋan turutan lahin, namun dalem turutan mi, Saɲayaŋ, suŋguh kami taʔ takut gelep, (41) kami iaŋ ada maɲelia gelep tu.” (42) Gelep taʔ buruk, namun di gelap kamu susah, bahken taʔ dapet maŋlihat. (43) Maka dah kena ada sinar. (44) Dan sinar tu elah kami beri ka p’parayaŋ di parhiŋga nda lar. (45) Dan kaini, Raɲja dah sinar tu, sinar iaŋ cetar.
(37) But that doesn't mean ye have to be afraid of the darkness. (38) Darkness is also part of the perfect God. (39) There must be darkness in this world. (40) If they say that religious people are afraid of the dark, say "we don't know about other religions, but in our religion, Sanyayang, we are really not afraid of the dark, (41) we actually study the dark." (42) Darkness is not bad, but in the dark ye have trouble, ye can't even see. (43) Then there must be light. (44) And We gave that light to the prophets in their time. (45) And now, Ranja is that light, a shining light.

(46) Dentiŋ tiŋ barbuɲi, pukul empat dah maŋhampiri. Kahadep banua hampir ‘ŋhadep mataari. (47) Raɲja Mi, eŋkau barsihauar dan barsihalem pada uŋer. (48) Suŋguh eŋkau mimaŋ dah sauraŋ paŋgeɲar. (49) Maka ini dah Kami dateŋ pada kau beri siŋkepan. (50) Kami tahu eŋkau taʔ maŋaeɲam kaberatan. (51) Di Riŋer malem iaŋ suɲi ni, Kami turunken tutur Mi. (52) Tutur iaŋ barcerakep dan mamadahi. (53) Biar siida tahu eŋkau bersama saŋ ida sadatar siari.
(46) The clock chimes, four o'clock is approaching. The face of the earth is almost facing the sun. (47) Our Ranja, thou art empathetic and sympathetic to society. (48) Truly thou art a feelist. (49) So here We come to give revelation. (50) We know thou doest not mind. (52) On this silent Friday night, We pass Our verses. (52) Verses that storying and tell. (53) Let them know thou art with the Multiunity of the universe.
