(1) Tasih iasih bersih. (2) Siida dah u'uraŋ iaŋ iasih nan tarkasih. (3) Sempet hati mu elah targerak hendak rapay paŋlayan Hiyaŋ, hulun Hiyaŋ, ciwik Hiyaŋ, maŋririken teŋget hidup sam'mata buat 'nuluŋ uraŋ lahin, maka rapay dah kamu tasih.

(1) Novices are pure and clean. (2) They are the holy and beloved people. (3) If your hearts are moved to become servants of God, slaves of God, lovers of God, dedicating your life solely to helping others, then become a novice.
