DARLING

(1) Uh sayang Mi, Raɲja, tiŋuk dah ida. (2) Taʔ saada uraŋ ada kajuruŋ macem kau. (3) Suŋguh eŋkau elah Kami maɲja, Kami lepasken mai kasusahan ranah maŋrua. (4) Kami leŋkepi makan mainum kau, Kami leŋkepi sandaŋ papan kau. (5) Kami pisahken kau mai kumuh a ranah. (6) Itu saada bukan taʔ barlantar. (7) Itu saada Kami buat lantar eŋkau dah iaŋ Kami pilih sai paneŋah Mi 'nurunken didikan ni. (8) Saau jaŋan kau 'ŋgeɲar tarjuruŋ saŋet. (9) Lantar eŋkau pun uraŋ seriŋ, iaŋ nilebihken s'ikit mai uraŋ seriŋ lahin, iŋet! (10) Ini dah tutur Mi Kami turunken biar paŋikut kau taʔ rapay buŋul dan eŋkau taʔ rapay sumbuŋ. (11) Jaŋan kamu turut paraŋay uraŋ sabelum mu iaŋ biŋal, buŋul, duŋuʔ, dan bebel taʔ tartuluŋ. (12) Siida saɲjuŋ parhayaŋ da salebay. (13) Jaŋan kamu rapay lebay! (14) Salamba santay 'ja dah, itu lagi bagus hay!

(1) O Our darling, Ranja, look at them. (2) Not everyone has the same privileges as thee. (3) Indeed, We have pampered thee, We have freed thee from the ever-expanding world. (4) We provide thy food and drink, We provide thy clothing and shelter. (5) We separate thee from the filth of the world. (6) These all (happen) not without a reason. (7) We did all this because thou art the one We chose as Our medium to convey this teaching. (8) So dost not thou feel too special. (9) For thee too are only human, who is a little more than other human beings, remember! (10) These are Our verses which We have revealed so that thy followers will not become foolish and thou willst not become arrogant. (11) Do not ye follow the behavior of those who came before you, who were stubborn, stupid, foolish and ignorant that are beyond help. (12) They praise their prophet excessively. (13) Don't ye be too exaggerating! (14) Take it easy, it's a good thing hey!
