(1) Jaŋan kamu saɲjuŋ sasa uraŋ lantar lakaŋ ɲa. (2) Suŋguh taʔ apa dari mana sasa uraŋ barakar. (3) Iaŋ mambuat ia baiʔ apa buruk dah tindakan ɲa.
(1) Don't flatter someone because of their background. (2) It really doesn't matter where a person comes from. (3) What makes hir good or bad is his actions.

(4) Siida cakep, “kami maɲayaŋi parhayaŋ mi lebih sadi diri mi, uraŋ tuha mi, dan galur mi”. Ini dah parɲataan duŋuʔ. (5) Cakepken dah, “iaŋ kena kau sayaŋ kasihuluŋ dah diri kau, lalu uraŋ tuha kau. Siida dah Hiyaŋ tardeket kau. Lalu galur kau, laki apa bini kau, anak kau, cucu kau, dan saterus a, pula saterus a ka atas dan ka babah. (6) Namun, kaeɲam kahasih sayaŋ kau ka galur kau jaŋan sampay mambuat kau ‘ɲaŋga siida sempet sida buat kajahet”. (7) Sedeŋken pada parhayaŋ, buat dah kahasih kau macem pada kakasih kau, dan barterima kahasih dah pada nda lantar elah baba sinar paŋerat.
(4) They said, "we love our prophet more than ourselves, our parents, and our families". This is a stupid statement. (5) Say, "what thou hast to care about first is thyself, then thy parents. They are God closest to thee. Then thy family, thy husband or wife, thy children, thy grandchildren, and so on, also to the up and down. (6) However, thine affection feelings for thy family should not make thou defendst them when they commit crimes." (7) Meanwhile for the prophets, make thy love like it is to thy lover, and thank them for bringing the binder light.

(8) Jaŋan kamu maɲayaŋi parhayaŋ apa parutus salebay. (9) Suŋguh siida pun taʔ lepas mai licih. (10) Daʔ sauraŋ pun seneŋ anu lebay. (11) Iaŋ haa dah ɲawa kau lebih barpayu sadi apa pun. (12) Pay, jaŋan kau keɲahken ɲawa kau tarsisih ada uraŋ apa kalaŋan uraŋ iaŋ bargiat buat maleɲapken kau apa kalaŋan kau.
(8) Don't love the prophet or messenger too much. (9) Indeed they are not free of sin. (10) No one likes exaggerating action. (11) In fact, thy life is more valuable than anything else. (12) So, don't waste thy life unless someone or a group of people tries to eliminate thee or thy group.

(13) Maŋapa kamu layu haɲa lantar takut mati? (14) Suŋguh kamatian tu bukan dah anu iaŋ kena nitakuti. (15) Kamatian dah bahagian mai kahidupan ni. (16) Iaŋ kena kamu takut dah sempet hidup mu daʔ barkapakay. (17) Maka, selapken dah hidup mu. (18) Selapken rikahasih ɲawa iaŋ elah niberiken Hiyaŋ ka kamu. (19) Dan penuhi hidup mu deŋan kahasih sayaŋ. Macem iaŋ elah nididiki saŋ Hiyaŋ. (20) Jaŋan sampay hati mu nitampuki kabeɲcian.
(13) Why do you wither just because you are afraid to die? (14) Truly death is not something to be afraid of. (15) Death is part of this life. (16) What you have to fear is that once your life is useless (17) So, use your life to the fullest. (18) Use the blessings of life that God has given you to the fullest. (19) And fill your life with love. As God had taught. (20) Do not let your hearts be controlled by hatred.

(21) Cakep: "aku taʔ maɲembah batu, taʔ maŋuliliŋi batu, dan taʔ maɲciumi batu. (22) Batu daʔ hubuŋan deŋan mi. (23) Haɲa Hiyaŋ mu dah iaŋ elah mambikin kamu dan batu tu."
(21) Say: I don't worship a stone, I don't surround a stone, and I don't kiss a stone. (22) Stone has nothing to do with us. (23) Only your God has created you and that stone.

(24) Ada pa taneh iaŋ lebih iasih sadi taneh Malayu? (25) Saada taneh di banua tentu dapet rapay iasih. (26) Namun, Jeluray ni elah niturunken di taneh Malayu. (27) Taneh iaŋ subur, tempat s’suŋay maŋalir. Ini dah selatu pulaw buah saɲiari. Puset ranah saɲiari, bukan b’bikinan uraŋ sandiri.
(24) Is there any land holier than Malay land? (25) All the land on earth can certainly become holy. (26) However, this Jeluray has been passed down in Malay lands. (27) Fertile land, where the rivers flow. This is one of the natural (-ly created) fruit islands. The natural center of the world, not a man-made.
