SACRIFICE

(1) Hiyaŋ taʔ hendaki partumpahan darah. (2) Saau, jaŋan kamu cakep kamu kena manumbalkan sasa binataŋ apa uraŋ di ranah. (3) Suŋguh, itu dah anu buŋul taʔ tentu arah. (1) God does not want bloodshed. (2) So, don't ye say that ye have to sacrifice an animal or human in the world. (3) Really, that's a stupid thing with no clear direction. (4) If ye kill an animal, ye must use it, ye must not waste it. (5) However, killing a human being is a basic criminal sin for you, do not ever do it. (6) Taking human life is only permitted for two reasons. Because in that case, ye are not killing, but rather terminating. (7) Terminating a human being is done in self-defense or to end suffering. (8) However, only terminate someone if there really is no other choice, don't just terminate someone arbitrarily.

(9) Do not ye be cruel to animals that can feel, for they can feel pain. (10) Therefore, it is impossible for God to order you to use animals as a wasteful sacrifice, even if only a little. (11) To the point that some of you in ancient times pulled out human hearts in front of the sun, that is truly a false and too extreme belief.

(12) Tumbal taʔ ‘mbaba kapakay di kamu, salahin kasakitan si tarbunuh dah. (13) Cerdas dah kamu, paɲayaŋ dah kamu, jaŋan tumpahken darah iaŋ taʔ usah.

(12) Sacrifices bring no benefit to you, except pain for the one killed. (13) Be intelligent, be merciful, do not shed blood unnecessarily.
