(4) Sempet ‘naɲa kau ' sasa parbeɲci, siapa tuhaan kau? siapa juɲjuŋan kau? siapa tuhay kau? apa turutan kau? di mana hala kau? siapa sadara kau? maka sahut dah salembut dan satenti, "aku taʔ ada tuhaan, haɲa Hiyaŋ dah iaŋ aku ada, s'siapa uraŋ cerdik pinter cerdas dan baiʔ dah juɲjuŋan ku, aku sandiri dah tuhay ku, saɲayaŋ dah turutan ku, aku taʔ barhala ka m’mana pun, lantar aku bukan paɲembah tempat, saada baŋet dah sadara ku, tahu!" (5) Baheru dah siida tarsentak dan sadar sempet salama ni siida elah nipenuhi deŋan geɲar beɲci, ciciʔ, dan deŋki iaŋ maŋagaw.
(1) The hatish box themselves, not realizing (that) they are still human, nothing makes them better or worse than others except their usefulness to the world and other people that are adorned. (2) Worshiping is your own business, ye know! (3) By worshiping, it is only for yourself, but for the world ye are useless. (4) If one/some hatish ask you, who is your Lord? who is your idol? who is your leader? what is your religion? where is your Qibla? who are your brothers? then said softly and confidently, "I have no Lord, I only have God, whoever is clever, smart, intelligent, and good is my idol, I myself am my leader, Lovy is my religion, I don't orient to anywhere, because I am not a place worshiper, all creatures are my brothers/sisters, ye know!" (5) It was only then that they were shocked and realized that all this time they had been filled with a sense of hatred, contempt, and malice which were stuffed down their throats.
